2006 warranty

what kind of problems ,if any has anyone had to deal with when takin a truck back for service , with a chip or module or any performance items . Mopar tells me that cummins allows no performance or youll void yor warranty

My dealer told me if Ive have mods on my truck just take them off and put it back to stock before I take it to them. what they cant see they cant prove.

Dont forget........if its something major, someone not from the dealership may come out and look. If they scan the computer and see a box was on................say goodbye to your warranty. Its not always up to the dealership

Thats right they will scan your computer but if you have smarty its going to be hard for them.

Like mentioned, it all depends on the dealer. My dealer told me they look the other way unless its something major and DC gets involved. They said if this happens I'm on my own.
