Question 2004.5 turbo on 2003

Anybody install a 2004.5 turbo on a 2003?

What parts did you have to change to bolt on? (down pipe only I think)

Any problems?

What kind of boost are you getting?

Does it work OK without the electronic controls?

Sorry for all the questions, but looks like there is a supply of them on ebay. Of course the seller doesn't know anything about them except they are from a 2004. I'm guessing it's the 600 because it has a wiring harness.

If the voice of experience says it'll work I'll have it within the week!

It will work, but you might have to block off the solenoid control hose and re-tap the compressor housing for a boost elbow to operate the wastegate manually.

So no one has actually done this???? Seems like it would be really easy. Thought I had seen posts where guys just left the harnesses loose, but I can't seem to find them.

Oh well...guess I'll just wait on a B1 or one of its variants.
