Question? Need some help.

on the way home climbing a steep grade i noticed i was slowing down i looked at my monitor and realized my chip was no longer working got home checked all connections,faulty chip sent unit back to edge had unit upgraded w/turbotimer/hotjuice/l6 had original unit on for36000 miles and towed in level3 always never running up to 1350 egt.. now ive installed my new unit from edge my truck overboost to 40psi in stock mode and instantly climbs to over 1350egt in levels2 thru 6 does not overboost in level 3 truck has banks exhaust afe intake truck is showing a p0483 code this is the second chip edge has sent me they have been great when my first chip failed i took my truck to the dealer for a tranny service to find out it was badly worn they rebuilt with bd conv./vlvbdy why can i not enjoy my new chip and tranny without out overboosting or excesive egt any ideas? plugged c/converter? ive owned since new and love this truck when running correctly
