Hey Everyone,

Just took my 2003 2500 in for front end alignment only to find that ball joints , tie rod end and drag link have play, and that the track bar bushings are very worn. I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on a good way to purchase these parts. I might try to rebuild these things myself.

Any info would really help. Thank you.

 

I just did this last Friday...Well had it done.

I used Luke's Links for the Track Bar bushings.

I used Adjustable Heim End links from Tuff Country. *Required minor drilling/reaming*

I used Les Schwab Extreme Duty Tie Rod ends. *Complete kit with adjusters and full bars* The price was very close to the new T-Style kit, but when I went in I thought I only needed 2 ends, I needed all so I opted to just keep it as Y-style, I would have had to order a new Drop Pitman Arm.

Total Bill including Tires (35X12.50 Toyo's) $2382.00, this included removing and reinstalling my Steering Bracket.

If I recall the tires were just under $1400.00 total including alignment.

My Ball Joints and Hubs were still good.
