Believe it or not it's quite a few 2wd's here, some dont post 2wd questions because they get flack for not getting 4wd. 2wd works for me and my location, although the pre-runner OPTION would be nice to have from the factory. (Are you listening DCX)

Leonesm, You front end does look too high. I was checking the spacing in your pic from the front and rear and you front has more. Try to get a leveled ground pic of yours, you picture doesnt add anything to your argument

Concer, I used a measuring tool that I have here on my pc and the front is definately higher. Did you add a 1" block to the rear? Having discussed this before with previous members. How's your front end alignment? Was your local shop able to get it aligned? I've spoke with other folks who had nothing but trouble after adding 1 1/2-2 1/2" lifts. (Wobbles, slow response, tracks to either left/right, wears tires) Did you go with the extended shocks and replacement a-arms pkg? All those reasons are keeping me on the fence, not to mention I was told that I may not like the the outcome of the install and they have had numerous customers come back to have them removed.

The alignment shop I use is also a Daystar dealer. From his experience he recommended not going higher than than 1.5" on a 2wd model. This is for 2nd gen models but hasn't done a 3rd gen. Wanted me to be the first.

Any tracking etc problems you can trace back to a poor alignment job.
Not sure but betcha I have 90 to 100k on these things.
I replaced the shocks but did not use longer ones.

I posted two more pics to my gallery, since y'all didn't think it was level... I agree that one of the other pics looks a little off, but I really think it was just the way it was sitting. The front still sits 1/2" lower than the rear, proven by the tape measure
Y'all are some hard folks to convince, nobody even had anything to say about the Power Wagon flares...

I have a slew of mods I am doing to my truck during my christmas break. 1.5" spacer, flares, line-X my rocker panels and front and rear bumpers. I have before pics in my gallery now, I will get some after pics and see whats 1.5" spacers do. Also I called daystar today they said that if you go higher then 1.5" you need new shocks. I think with 1.5" spacers and flares will give a 2wd the look it needs.

I agree 1 1/2" spacers are the correct look. (for me) I dont want to add too much lift just make it look more visually correct. I still say Toyota is all over it by offering a pre-runner option for its 2wd's.
Keep us posted when the pics come. Hopefully, by that time I may have decided to get off the fence and order me a set.

When a level is place on the top of the bed (the bed rail...my personal defination of level...) and the truck is true level...the top of the rear fender IS higher than the front..more than 1". I think this is all taste...but I like a little rake...just a little. Then a "reasonable" load does not appear to be slamming the truck. Look in my reader pics for a side shot withy a Tuff 4.5 with an extra 1" added to rear to maintain "some" rake.
It is all personal preference...

Good looking truck, but you have to realize the 2wd front is too low. (View my pics) From the look, I Assume your ride is 4wd. I'm with you on the level part. I would add a 1' block in the rear to compensate for the 1.5" front lift to keep it visually correct and level when loaded.
