An auto requires TC and Transmission upgrades to handle 450-550rwhp, especially if you have 4x4. Power brake 4wd launches are needed for that combo.
After that pretty much any performance combination that gets close to 500rwhp and can live through hard WOT 1/4 mile runs should get you into the 13s.
I did it with TC/Trans, HOT Juice/Attitude, EZ, FASS, II SPS66 and AFE Stage II air intake.

I was wondering the same thing. I am running a full trans and a Smarty. I also have a AFE Stage2 w/ PG1 and no cat or muffler. I am wondering once I get my 62/12 if I will be in the high 13's??? I dont drag much, but street credit is enough.

I would think you will be right there with the turbo. Smarty has more potential power to the ground than the HOT Juice does. I have seen other trucks with Smarty only performance mod run in the 13s, one on stock turbo.

My buddy Trevor has an 06 with only a crazy larry and my mp-8. In one night he ran 14.11, 14.12, 14.13, and 14.17 on 4 runs. My truck has NEVER been that consistent.
13's are cake these days... Heck 12's is becoming very common!

I hit 13.96 with a good launch with a Juice/EZ stack! (and a DTT, FASS, and AFE stage II)
My truck with a Hot Juice/TS MP8 stack (and DTT, FASS, AFE Stage II, brand new 295 Nitto's, STOCK turbo!) outran another truck that runs 13.6's.
this is my automatic ofcourse.....13's aren't very hard anymore.

Edge Juice w/ BDPP, stock tranny with conv/shift kit and 75hp injectors I ran 13.54@103.7mph. With Phat Shaft 62 & Walbro, ran 12.97@106mph. With a full race Goerends tranny, I'm now at the time in my sig. With everything turned off still runs 15.1@96mph. Just the Edge on Lev. 5 and she'll run 13.5's.
