Satruday morning had lil power, not enough to make the engine turn
i trickle charged the batteries and had everything workn great sunday
monday turned the engine over and died. I jumped it and hit the alterator with a meter. Everything working correctly.
Tuesday drivn 30 mintues to work watched the voltage meter slowly decrease in the truck. got a block from work and putted in. hit it with meter 8amps!!!!!!dead

trickled batteries overnight, passenger side had acid all over the top and drivers side was smokn. Ordered a new alternator and installed two new interstate batteries.

Do you think there was a trigger? Something that fired off the chain reaction

 

Did you have your alternator bench tested? I had a similar situation on my '05, and the alternator was fine, but the batteries were toast causing all kinds of electrical problems.

 

I will attempt to get it bench tested id like to know if i am wasting money
