How much boost does the stock 06 trucks run. And if at all possible, someone that has already installed a gauge please list boost pressures in gears (Auto)!!! Thanks Again

Mine will hit 30-32psi then the waste gate opens and starts dumping boost.

Does it hit this amount in every gear, or just in top gear???

 

From 2nd gear right up to 4th lock up, It hovers there, if I'm at WOT the whole time, It will peak at 32psi then drop to appx 29psi from the waste gate opening then shift and go right back up to 32psi and so on.

 

boost is engine load depenent. more heat & pressure in the exhaust manifold, more boost...

 

I'm curious if outside air temps effect the boost that the ECM calls for! I know that allot of the newer Factory Turbo'd Cars are ambient temperature dependant, but are our trucks????? 32psi then to 29psi = I love BOOST! Thanks
