Way to go Tim!!! Great job, but then again who would expect anything less from You, Don, Nathan and the rest of that team! You have our attention, and it will be fun watching where else this project can go.

I dont see why everyone under-estimates the 555 so much???

IIRC the original 230hp tune/test was done on a near stock 555 engine.

Tim, what was your lowest Rail Psi and which psi box? How well did the chargers clean it up? I see 850 in your future. CONGRATS!!!

What's the story on the 06 head vs the 04? Is there any advantage stock-to-stock?

Congrats on the numbers

this tells me I'd be looking at $3000 to $5000 ( twins ) for 75 to 100 more hp.... doesn't sound so encouraging. That's a lot of coin to drop for not a whole lot of gain. Guess I have a lot more done to my truck than your test trucks though so maybe I could gain a little more ???

Great work guys it's much appreciated which is obvious in this thread.

race tune......

Nice job Tim! As I said at Fall Brawl your truck is one of the best running trucks I have seen. I am sure this one will surpass even the 06.

and the head has never been off my truck or the engine has never been taken apart and I bet I can dyno very close to you without dual pumps or engine work done. im not going after you but there is both sides to the coin.
I made 676/1221 on the dyno with half of the stuff you have done to your truck. obviously your tq numbers are better but the horsepower is not much more. with your engine being built im sure it would hold up to mods better than mine but I think after you reach a certain point its not worth the money. it would cost me 7k more to get 800hp out of my truck on fuel probably. just to buy dual pumps and twin turbos. I would like to have them yes but it would only give me 100hp maybe

True, hp over 700 gets real exspensive.Thing is it can be a lot more than just 100hp for the 7k additional. If you size your twins and injectors right the gain could be 200hp for the same basic money. You have to decide how high you want to go early though, doing things over is when the real expenses show up.
Doug I look forward to see what you end up doing with your 07, should be fun this year. Tim

Start saving up jwb600.

I had a strong fast...budget build for 100k...loved every minute of it.

But...the last 30k in an even stronger FAR MORE expensive build has replaced every last memory of the past. Every last drop.

I have NO idea how I used to drive my large single...

Tim; two weeks and x amount of dollars you shoud be darn pleased with that.
Does the race tune add pressure? I see that you have a pressure box in your sig? Is this the case on the run..

I never knew Don dealt in electronics

I'm about ready to bolt on a new set of twins from HTT , going for 800+ of #2.
