03 Ho egt question, useing predator and recon gauge.

I did some more testing, 220 at Idle in N or P, 290-300 in D. Cruise at 60 is around 400-500 depending on hills. I ran it hard and hit 1k was prob 1/8th mile, was still going up but had to let out of it.

I have always said my truck seems to have a lack of power, its strong on ext stacker tune but just seems a little sluggish. I can spin tires but have to try and it just dont come close to my pops 05 on performance.

Could the EGT's be saying there is a issue, or is it possibly the gauge??

I am sure I could hit 1200 or so if I held it to the floor till over 100mph, well maybe I will have to try and see. I am just a bit afraid I am pushing higher egts then I am showing and could hurt it trying to figure it all out.
I hit 1400 today doing 60mph, I can slide my truck any direction I want..Tire spin comes very easy

you have a 06, 04.5 and up are different animals from what I have been told. Really I need to hear more from the 03-04 crew.

That's seems kind of low with a performance box. What's your EGTs in the stock configuration? Still running the stock lift pump?
With the SMARTY set to level 5 (90hp+timing) I'm at 1100 degrees WOT. Stock it's 1250 degrees.

Good question, might put it back to stock and see how that does. I do still have the stock lift pump, I have used the predator to monitor the rail pressure and it has never dropped off.

Guess my next step is to monitor the fuel pressure and figure out how to see if the gauge is accurate.
