hey HONDA99, i just put on a 8" tip with my 5" exhaust and i really like the look of it. it looks really big when you first get it but after you put it on it looks pretty dang good and makes the truck sound awsome. i got mine from puredieselpower.com and i think it ran me around 120 or so. but well worth the money. i'll see if i can get some pics this weekend of it

fedex says that my 83 pound box should be here tomorrow I am excited. I would like to get it on tomorrow ASAP, have a rodeo in town this weekend, and well I would like to show off ol red, and maybe pick up a rodeo . . .

So I may have to install it on the gravel in front of my motel room by myself . I think I will just cut the old stuff out. What do you think 1 1/2 hours total?

I just ordered my 5inch exhaust on tuesday and it came in yesterday(thursday). I was really surprised that it came that quick. I will be putting it on tonight and will probably be ordering a 7 or 8 inch tip for it this weekend. Ill try to get some pics up once its all done. Thanks jcmoyer2004. I might wait to see if you can get some pics posted up before i go and buy one.

Well I cut all my factor exhaust junk out a little while ago, had to drive to class and the post office with exhaust coming straight out of the turbo elbow, sounds pretty gross like that. . . LOUD though. and I like the whistle when decelerating. I thought that it might " squawk, caw " sound like the 2nd gens do but not really. dang .

now I sure hope the delivery man gets here. . . . .

Eh, I do not have all that much longer here. . . I try to keep it quiet in our parking lot (small motel) idle only, but when I turn onto rt. 66 all bets are off.

when I bought Rambunctious I straight piped her within two hours of owning her. So I have no basis for comparison on that deal.

anyone want to trade out my five inch for your 4 inch? . . .

Truck feels like a pig, I am not sure how many HP I lost but it is significant.

The only piece of exhaust I have left from the stock stuff is the DP, So I think I will try and put it back in and maybe get some HP back.

What about my stacks for your 5"??? I'm ready for something new... 4" to 6" stacks, dual flo-pro twister mufflers, one far forward, one far back. PM maybe we can work something out.

No unfortunately I don't have a toolbox. But I think it would fit with a slim toolbox. It was just a thought, I was thinking of getting the 5" FBD exhaust anyways. If you change your mind let me know.
