Does anyone know what the difference is between 03-04 and the 04.5 and up injectors?

I'm getting several sets of each for some members so they can keep there stock ones and send these off to get them modded. Thats why I would like to know what the difference is.

Cris, Only the number of holes and spray angles are different. You can use a stock 03-04 injector in an 04.5 + and it will be ok but not the other way round. If you are getting them modified by Don M then the nozzles will be replaced so it doesn't matter. There seem to be more 04.5+ injector failures but that could be due to the higher idle, cruise and WOT stock injection rail pressures for the 600's. The injection gods say that all injectors only have so much time to spend at higher rail pressures.....make your power with duration and timing unless your ready to pay. ks

 

I talked to one of the injector gods on the phone and did find out that the hole size, angle and the part #s are the only differences, the bodies are the same. This means that everyone will get to keep there stockers and be able to send these off to be modded
