I don't have a fuel pressure gauge so I don't know what the walbro is putting out. Rip I don't have any of the beta stuff I will try any thing once. I think I'm going to see if I can borrow a mp8 for a day to see if it helps but I don't want to kill my injectors with rail pressure.

 

Dude...I could roll 550 to 575hp all day stock CP3/sticks with an A5k. Get my number from Bigman and I will steer you in the right way.

Ok, everybody come clean here. Who is getting over 500hp on a '03-04 with a SMARTY that is NOT stacking or using drugs with stock injectors??

I think I could be if I took my mp-8 off and ran 4.2....but I like having the mp-8, it really does the trick down low and up high.

 

Back to subject, I'm gonna mention it again since it didn't seem to get noticed. Are your turbos synched up good, as in is your wastegating in check?

 

I don't know much about setting the turbos up. Pat at big twin built and set them up I know he did some thing to the waste gates.

 

Didn't quite get there with mine. I did like 470 something with just smarty beta 4.3. Stock everything else except DIY cp3 mod and hx35/bht3b twins.

Before that was 448 with beta 4.2, the same set up, and didn't know how to dyno... was the first time... (some say I still don't )

Also of note I have the 235 SO engine not a triple nickle.

 

What is the most HP anyone is getting from a 03-04 with stock sticks and cp3 with out stacking 3 boxes? There is a stock 05 or 06 in this area that is doing 513-518 with just a smarty. My truck stock with smarty did 415.

 

In May 2005 I had the Bully Dog Power Pup with stock injectors and CP3, but HTB2 62/12 turbo. I also had a VA C3.1 pressure box connected. Dynoed at Meridian Motorsports.

With the pressure box "off" and BDPP on "Extreme", but connected for boost fooling:

406 HP / 842 TQ (uncorrected)

With the pressure box @ 100% and BDPP on "extreme":

456 HP / 969 TQ (uncorrected)

Soon after I added 100 hp Diesel Dynamics 3 injectors and maxed out the stock CP3 at ~550 HP (uncorrected).

 

TST alone can make a peaky 550 hp or so. I did that April 2004...but with an A5K.
