** Quad rail guage came with CCSFPKIT for fuel pressure.. wrong?

Okay so I ordered my Rail Pressure Gauge from XTREMEDIESELPERFORMANCE (XDP). They said the regular fuel pressure senders are discontinued and said they would send one for a commander that will work.

They did. The box says "CCSFPKIT" and below it says 6.0 Ford.

I checked the part #'s on quads site and they seem to be the same. How does this work on the dodge? i don't understand how this will interface with the banjo bolt on the CP3?

Its a bulbous shaped fuel pressure sender and an l shaped thing made up of a bunch of different fittings.

Can I make this work? I am a little annoyed if they sent me the wrong dang part.

Can the fuel pressure module be threaded into the bottom of the filter housing and and not worry about the banjo bolt issue. Or can someone please explain how I would make it work with the CP3 banjo fitting.

Unfortunately I can't get you all a picture at the moment.

Is this a universal kit (CCSFPKIT)

Thanks! Quad please help!

Despite where I got it (somewhere that took my AMEX)

Do you have any input on the CCSFPKIT model? It is also listed under Dodge parts on the Quadzilla site. I just don't see the banjo fittings.

Can I screw the sender directly into the bottom of the fuel filter housing instead of going int he CP3? Will that work?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

Rip is down south about 160 miles from here. Bit of a drive. I guess its not THAT important (to drive 320 miles to get one). . I thought I read somewhere there is a fitting this could thread into on the bottom of the filter assembly on the engine.

I'll have to keep searching.

Thanks for the ideas though!

Tap my own bolt...

Yes I supposed that is an option. I have the drill press but not sure if I have the tap/die. I'll have to look.

Do you know anything about the fitting on the bottom of the factory fuel filter housing? Is it a banjo as well?

Check for a hyspeco or parker high preassure hose store close buy. You can get it from about anybody that deals in hydrolic repair hoses and parts.

No I'm sure you will get the right parts. It was a mistake on XDP's part. No worries for you!

Just to let you know that if you drill and tap the stock banjo bolt that it will not be be very strong I looked at that option. I ended up purchasing a banjo bolt from a Dodge dealer and welded on a 1/8 hydraulic threaded coupler, worked great and is strong. I did the same thing for the boost bolt. I was unable to find anyone in British Columbia, Canada that could supply these bolts/fittings. Good luck with your install.
