$1200.00 To 1400.00

Dealer said 12 to 14k to change out injectors to next size up from stock. Will give me 100 more hp and 50 to 75 of torque. With out voiding warranty.

How bad would i be getting burned on the price? Not sure When i would be able to do this With out the Generals permission :} YET

Though It would give me something to shoot for.

If they are gonna do it, parts and labor, and still keep you under warranty, I would have to say its a pretty good deal.

A good set of injectors (Don M's, for example) will run you about $1100.
Some extrude honed injectors will run you $600.

Find out whose they are and then decide if you're getting a good deal. I was quoted about $500 labor to swap out 3rd. gen sticks.

But if the dealer says its under warranty and doesnt void the warranty they have to stand by it even if the manufacturer doesnt cover the dealership has too... So it could jus mean that the dealer will loose in this case...

I dont see how they can warranty 100HP injectors on a stock truck. All you need to do is hookup a 10 000lb trailer and find a nice long hill and your goin to have a major EGT issue. This is a gong show waiting to happen!

Get a great lawyer, and get the owner fo the dealership to come through on his word so WHEN YOU DO have problems (not IF, it's WHEN), they are obligated to fix it.

SHoot, with this setup, you could have the dealer install injectors, then have Banks put on their stuff and could make 450rwhp and still have your factory warrenty!!

Get a lawyer to fine comb this deal,, You will need it. Better to have one now when your truck isn't being pulled by a tow truck....

Sounds a little fishy to me, not voiding the warranty and all.

Thanks for the info, guys.

I am concerned about egt's but if they will put it in writing that might make me sway the other way. I definently don't want to have issues in the later years.
