This is weird!!
This is weird!!
The other morning I went to start my truck, and I noticed that my temp on the overhead went from C to F along with the fuel milage from km to MPG, my radio switched from fm to AM and my clock was reset and started at 12 after startup, but I didn't loose any of my preset radio stations, plus I had to re-adjust my EQ the truck started fine. I don't get it, the dealer is stumped and they wont look at it because everything is working fine on my truck, and this morning eveything was normal on startup, I do not use this truck much there is only 35000km on it and it might sit 2-3 weeks at a time before I use it, could the voltage dropped low enough on startup after the grid heaters cycled to cause enough dip in the voltage to these instraments to cause what I mentioned above?
Oh and there is no way someone or little fingers would of tampered with this.
Thanks for the replies

Brother... sometimes there is just a ghost in the machine. I mean that seriously.
One time, many years ago, I had a pager... before cell phones were the norm. I got home from work and sat down to read the mail. I opened a Crutchfield catalog and was looking over some car stereos. My pager went off with an 800 number. Kinda weird. So I called this 800 number. It was Crutchfield customer service. I asked the lady if they paged me. She informed me they never page anyone and looked up my account. I hadn't bought anything from them in over a year and they would have no reason to call/page me. I told her I was just paged with their 800 number while I was reading their catalog. She was more freaked out than I was. There is/was no rational explanation for what happened that day.

My truck has been sitting in the garage at my house for over a month. I fired it up today to take some photo's for ebay listing, and everything was fine, it started fine and everything was normal
The place I used to work at had some vehicle tracking software running in the OTR trucks. When the trucks were started in the morning in winter, the voltage would drop low enough to reset and lock up the computers. I'm assuming the same thing happened here.
As for the pager, that is just plain freaky...
