UPDATE! on Cat/DPF problem
Cat DPF problem!
EVIC tells me today CAT 80% - no problem take it on Hiway and it gos to 70% then System OK. Get home check codes and have P1451 PA00. Clear them off and go about regular driving.
5 Milkes later back on! Hit highway drive for 60 miles and it goes from 80 to 90% to 100%!!!!! DEALER SERVICE REQUIRED! Then back down to 90.
Have P2463 and 2 P1451 codes and NO WARRANTY!!!!! Dodge cancelled it when I brought the truck to Canada!
Any suggestions?

Friend of mine has the same thing. His is an 08, and he never went to 100% only 80% and he also has check eng. light on. Going to buy a code reader to see what it is. I figured becasue it's been -40 the last 3 days probably threw a code on start up, could be as easy as resetting the code - I hope anyway.
Did you try a dealer in Alberta yet to see if it is as bad as you think it is( no warranty thing). Good luck keep us posted.

We need to reset all this stupid technology and emissions crap and go back to what works. As far as I am concerned I am never buying another diesel or for that fact new car. We can barely get these things to go 100,000 miles without something crapping out. So why don't they warranty it since you are in Canada? Just because you went from the united states to canada. Did you tell them the dumb thing is made in Mexico so what does it matter if your in America or Canada?
Just for the heck of it, try disconnecting the batteries for the night, or at least a couple of hours to clear the codes. You need to get the computer to go back to the factory default voltages and it should solve the problem. I straight piped mine and it went to 80% then 100% then derated the engine. After about 2 weeks I couldn't take the loss of power any more so I put the dpf back on and cleared the codes. the p1451 and p2463 wouldn't go away because they are active codes. The computer thought that the low voltage it was seeing with no sensors connected meant the DPF was clogged because it hadn't regened in so long. So when I put it back together and it still saw a low voltage, ( clean DPF) it still thought it was clogged. The dealer re set it to the default values and all was well. You most likely will be fine. Just clearing codes won't work, you need to reset to the factory values. Like brainwashing and starting from scratch. Good luck.
by law in ontario i know there is an extended warranty on emissions systems and parts. i know alot of vehicles that had this and i remember in school there was something about that.
try fighting with them. i know when it comes to cadillacs here were im working when you import one from the states the factory warranty is still there just no regular maitnence is covered as it usually is when purchased here in ontario.

UPDATE! on Cat/DPF problem
OK - took it back to the highway and drove it at 73 MPH or so 2000rpm's and it went from Cat Full Dealer Service reuired to 90% to 80% to 70% then it woukd go back and forth from 80 to 70 then CLEARED off after 78 miles total.
Returned the 78 miles to home and it seems that it might be stuck in regen as the mileage is way down.
Also - engine seems louder and even with the exhaust brake off it is engaging when letting off the accelerator.
When I pulled off the highway after it said system OK I cleared off the codes and the engine light. After the return trip light still off and no codes.

I can't believe that with the price of these trucks you have to put up with all this hassle! What happened to the days when you just got in the truck and went down the road?REGEN!!!!!!What a bunch of hooey!-Sorry about the rant.
"drove it at 73 MPH ....... 78 miles total"
What are you suppose to do if you used your 6.7L Dodge to tow your RV to some out of the way place like Yellowstone? - Honest Officer, I was just trying to clean up my DPF! They would lock you up for driving that fast!
All of the extra driving has to have a negative effect on the environment. Not only the use of the extra fuel, but you are wearing out your tires and your truck. The production of the truck and the tires also use energy and create pollution.

Mine went back today with another code. Oxgen sensor problem. This emission crap is for the birds. I use ulsd all the time. The mechanic said today that have flashed that thing to death. The had a list of stuff to try from star but didnt have time today because they said it will take time. I use my truck to work with and this is a joke. This would be a greatr uck without the emission stuff.

2nd if you havn't got the g30 recall done get it done the dealer has to do it warrenty or not than you will get the newest flash with the recall.
3rd the truck only derates when it says 100% and the CEL comes on and as soon as it comes off 100% it rerates it self, and when this happens you cannot engauge high idle any more. I've had the 1451 code and god only know waht else for a while everybody will get it when you have a catalyst message due to idling, i've had mine as high as 90% and it only too about 5min to clear driving around TOWN I only have the AU flash and i'm quite happy with my truck and I idle my truck alot, but not as much as my brother, i was in his truck last night when it went into limp mode I was sitting in the truck and he was in a store for 5 min the overhead said 100% when he got back in the truck it said 80% I said impossible can't regen at a idle i got out and the exhaust was so hot I had to stand 3 feet away from it and 10 min later it was at system ok and he has the AU flash too, he idles his truck for 10-12 hours straight, ant it was -20C outside.
