So i installed my Bully Dog PMT today but it wont let me change the power settings cause it says my truck needs Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) number 18-013-08. I never recieved any info from dodge about this and from what i've dug up its a performance related update. I've had my DPF delete for about two weeks now and no problems, and now this from the PMT. Could my DPF delete just screwed my truck? Has anyone had this update installed. My last update on my truck was like May 08

 

you wont get any info mailed to you on a TSB only for recalls. that TSB is the flash the ECM & the CCN

 

Oh got ya, so what do i tell my dealership? I have to use only small words and keep it simple their not the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed

 

You ask them what that TSB is and if you can come by and get it performed.

 

Just don't do it with the DPF delete still on!!

ChrisM55 I live in sparks too, do you go to Reno Dodge or Carson?

 

Niether if I can avoid it!! Reno Dodge is HORRIBLE!!!! I took my truck to Carson and they were much better but have not had it in once after doing the work to it. I may get ahold of Fallon and talk with them because I have a small leak from the trans pan and the rear main is leaking a tick. we will see if they are more receptive to my enhancements. Both carson and Ren told me point blank they would void my warranty

Ya thats what im worried about. Reno dodge has been great to me but all it had last time i took it in was stacks dpf dpf still in place. Im surprised Carson didnt want to help i always heard they were great. Did you just call up the dealerships and ask them if they would have a problem or did you go there. Ive got an oil change comming up soon( they change my oil for me cause they gave me 10 years of free oil changes, might as well use them) and also i have a small leak in my tranny too, noticed it when i was doing my dpf delete.

 

Between your Bully Dog and the DPF delete I would say your warranty is shot if you still have one. If you take it to a Dodge service dept. that way you surely wont have a warranty when you leave.

 

I was in reno dodge taking my wifes Caliber to have some stuff fixed and a guy with a 07.5 came in and we got to talking, Told him what he needed to do to get his runnin right and the service writer about blew a gasket!! HAHA!!

Carson who is an Edge dealer told me the J/A would void it if they saw it. I just need to give Fallon a call and see. Carson was really nice and did a good job but charged me 45.00 because of a rattle I was complaining about. The guys who put my flatbed on did some mods to my tailpipe and they blamed it on that. It was a heatshield that I fixed myself!!
