Does anyone know of a way to turn on running for a 2008. I heard that there might be some way in the computer to due it, but none of the dealers know how. Maybe there is no way.

I don't know for sure where it is located in the StarScan but I do know the ability is there. I think it is under Export Options or some such things since daytime running lights is a requirement in Canada.

Dealer did mine. Tell him it's for the daytime running lights. They won't come on until it's out of park or until the park brake is released.

I think you have to tell them that it's in the Canada mode in the StarScan or they won't find it.

I had DRLs on a 99 Chevy truck and I hated them. They burned out often and came on and went off way too often. They were very sensitive and just driving through a shadowy area would make the headlights come on. The running lights were always on but the headlights were activated by lack of light. Anyways, I ended up throwing something over the sensor so they would just stay on... Did I mention that I hated them?.......
