I run with the T/H and E/B on all the time. T/H makes the E/B work better and more responsive. Will not hurt, will only help. They should both be normally on from the factory...

Tow/Haul is a tad too aggressive for me for most everday driving conditions.....if I'm towing, I do use it very frequently.

The exhaust brake is on 100% of the time !

For me, the EB is on everytime that motor starts. The tow/haul is only on when I am towing my trailers.

After hauling with this truck for most of its first 100K, I had the opportunity to test with t/h and without. I did not notice any change in mpg empty. I run with t/h and the ebrake on all the time. In the city I tried without t/h but what I noticed was the ebrake was not as effective due to the slower or longer downshifts.

Running the E/B and T/H all the time I expect my brakes to last forever, it sounds cool, and I love it empty or towing. Haven't noticed any difference in MPG.
