Service air filter

We were coming home from our weekend camping trip when about a mile from home, the "service air filter" message displayed on the overhead. Just prior to that, I noticed that the truck seems a little starved for power. Got home and checked the filter minder, which showed that everything was good. Truck has just over 10K miles. Is it possible I need a new filter already, or could something else be going on?

I've had that one a few times. One at WOT and a couple while towing. Don't really know why it went off, each time the air filter was in decent shape and air filter monitor was in the green. I just delete the message and all was well. Chalked it up to an overly sensitive sensor.

The only time I had that come on was at 250 miles pulling a big grade into Lake Tahoe empty. Has never come back on in 8K miles. Pull it out and take a look at it. I have never trusted those filter minders, like the eyeball better
