Do you have anymore info on the driveshaft recall just curious I have a manual.

Got mine done today, and a reflash on the TCM. Only drove it 2 miles to the house, no opinion yet.

Dealer told me about the recall. Is the repgrogram AU???
He said the recall had to do something with the exhaust brake

yes the Flash that they apply during the recall is just the AU software version. Obviously if you already have that they just do the 02 sensor module

Yep, you're dead on Riddler. Talked to my service guy this morning and he confirmed the flash I received for my Rapid Response last week was the latest flash and all they'll do is change out the O2 module. He also said he was getting about 20 modules today so he's putting one aside for my Tuesday appointment.

BTW, the flash I received last week has been running great. 800 miles total on the truck and MPG went up to 15.3 highway/city combined - hand calculated (16.8 on overhead). Exhaust brake on full time.

Dealer told me today that the new au flash lets your truck regenerate in idle. It has the same numbers as the original au and that is the only diff.

i would have to question your dealers statement since that is a pretty HUGE difference and they said in the recall bulletin that if the ECM shows having the AU version, not to perform another reflash.

I am still confused about. I had my truck strait piped for awhile and I put all the stock stuff back on. We could not get the codes to clear. I had just had the AU flash a couple weeks before that and they said lets see if there is a new flash. The hooked there starscan tool up to their computer and it said there was a new flash out that I hadnt had. It was the AU and pretty sure the same numbers. Well when I was talking to them today I told them that it was regenerating in idle and they said, the new flash of AU makes it do that. But they didnt have anyidea about the 02 sensor module recall, and they just replaced my o2 sensorslast week.

The think that makes me think it has to be true is when you hook the starscan up to your truck and it tells the scanner what flash is in their and then they hook it up to their computer and it will say there is new flash updates or it will so you have the latest flash update. I had a post on here about my truck regenerating in idle and no one responded so I figure that know one else has seen that. But it doesnt make since that I would be the only one with the reflash to regen in idle, unless they see its a AU flash and know that the truck allready has the AU flash.

How do you know how to tell if a truck is regenerating at idle if you don't have an egt guage? Since my flash last week, I've noticed there are times at idle when the truck shakes more than other times. The glass in the mirrors really shake.

Have you noticed if yours idle differently when it's regenerating?
