Rear Spacers on 08 Rear Springs

Has anyone removed the spacers under the rear axle to lower the rear? I want to know if it changes the Drive shaft angle any.

Thanks

I figured. . .

I hear yes and no on the vibration. Not cool on changing U joints every 10,000 miles.

I figured I had to shim, but finding shims that big is going to be a problem

Thanks

I lowered the rear of the 07.5 around 8,000 miles ago - about 6k of which was towing a 12,000 lb 5th wheel.

I have not noticed any vibration.

I used this link for guidance http://klenger.net/dodge/lowering-rear-end/slide01.html

Good luck,

George

that makes no sence if you dont take out the wege shape shim and only remove the flat plates. I think they are 3/8 thick no vibration should be felt. if doing that cuased vibrations when you loaded it and it squated a litle it would vibrate from that change in stance. right ???
