RBP about to start developing TB exhaust for 6.7

Talked to Roland at RBP yesterday, he said he just for the first time was able to get his hands on a 6.7CTD. Said he has a customer with one, said it was the first one he had come across in California. Said he hopes to be using the customers truck for R&D. I asked how long before he'll have something for us 6.7 guys, he said it should only take a couple of weeks to get a mock up of the TB exhaust but it will be the computer coding that will take a little longer. He said on the Chevys the computer would throw lights but would not detune the engine or go into limp mode. I told him of the few here who have fabbed their own TB and the problems of the trucks detuning and going into limp mode. He stated he was not aware of that but it should not be a problem to get around just a little more time programming.

Good thing he is aware of all of us waiting for the TB setup to come and that is his next project.

Yeah, I can't wait to see how much power you guys can put through those 6spd autos w/o all kinds of issues. It will let us know if we want to build 6spd autos for our 5.9Ls. Plus, I'm sure that 6.7L will SH#$ it and get it w/ some of the stuff we do to 5.9Ls! HURRY!!!!!!

I've read some great things about the RBP DMax setup that kills the DPF and uses their programmer to override any CELs or limp issues. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

As it stands I wouldn't pull the trigger on a 6.7 until there's away around that DPF. My friend's Edge chipped LMM is in regen mode a LOT and you know there's going to be problems with that filter down the road.
