57,000 miles, what else can we expect?

My husband is a commercial driver and has had his 2007 dodge 6.7L since the beginning of May. It's been in and out of the dealership for repairs (computer problems, exhaust, regen, etc. the latest being EGR issues). I think it's been a total of 6 or 7 times now. Does anyone else know what other problems we can expect? Does anyone know or heard rumors of an end in sight?

Also, I've been reading this forum all day and saw where Jeb_H straight-piped his truck, Jeb_H if you read this, how is the performance since you've done this? Would you reccommend this for other people?

I still feel that LSD is one of the main problems with the DPF. I stopped for fuel lastnight and one of our local stations in Greenbrier (major brand) didn't have any markings on the diesel pump, so I asked the clerk who didn't know. I had him call his supervisor and they said LSD was still being sold and they wouldn't be changing to the new stuff. Maybe they are stopping diesel sales at that station or they don't know it will be mandatory to switch. But anyway, that's how easy it would have been to pump LSD by accident.

Only 80% of the fuel produced or imported has to be ULSD... some stations will not convert over until 2010 when 100% of the fuel sold has to be ULSD.

LSD I believe is most of the problem also. The use of ULSD is manditory in these engines because of the emissions. They are very redundent in there notices. Its in the owners manual, the fuel cap,and the fuel gauge. ULSD ONLY!
