pulled the trigger

well,i'm back amongst the cummins owners.drove home a new 09 quad cab slt 4x yesterday.i pulled out of the dealer and stepped on it a little bit to beat oncoming traffic.and the tires smoked without me having any intention of doing it............put a big ol smile on my face.i think i'm gonna like it.i haggled a spray in at dealer cost.and i'm going down to get toyo m/ts and a leveling kit tommorrow.then i'll get the front windows tinted to match the backs.that will get me where i wanna be for awhile.

Looks good. I like the longer steps too. Wise move.

285/75/17 there 34.1 inch tall and 11.6 wide.i always run toyo's on all my rigs.i like these better than the 35's their only .7 shorter but quite a bit narrower they tuck under nice on the stock wheels.that's my driveway those pics are taken on.so,you can imagine 26 inches of snow on there.that's what we had last december.that's why i have 4x4's with mud terrains

The Toyos look good. I actually went with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac, nice looking tire and load range E too.

yes sir..iv'e ran toyo's on different rigs for year's.the only drawback is cost.there always high.i have a very steep driveway, the pics don't really show it.we had 26 inches of snow on it last winter.my toyo a/t had a tough time with it.while the toyo m/t's on my wife's rig cleaned out and didn't pack with snow.for an agressive tread pattern they don't howl and ride smooth.
