probe location
What kind of temp difference is there between pre and post turbo pyro probe locations on the 6.7's? A buddy had his put in post turbo and he is seeing 900-1000 deg. temps with a power pup on tow 70 mph highway and not towing anything. If there is a 300 deg diff., he must be running around 1200-1300 deg???? What's up?
Stock temps on the 6.7 pre-turbo are as high as 1400 empty during re-gen operations. A good friend of mine did the DPF delete, EGR block and the EGT's dropped down to what the 5.9's were accustomed to. If you want more specific data, I can give you a contact..
typically 250-300 degrees difference pre-turbo vs. post-turbo. Sounds like your buddy is about where these things run when they are stock. 6.7L's run HOT when they have the DPF and EGR in place.
