??? for people that are useing the edge juice with attiude on there 6.7
Ok my question is what timing option are you useing? the edge timing or the stock timing.I have my egr unpluged and am useing the edge timing. well the other day i got the urge to try my Edge on level (5).well the truck ran great and had lots of power but boy did it have lots of timing rattle
.so i backed it back down to level (1) in fear of braking something.
so have been running it on (1) I never did try level (5) again with stock timing.so was just wondering what every body has theres set at and if you tryed both setting which on did you like best? Thanks Mopar72

thanks for the info. so what timing option are you useing? also what kind of fuel milgae are you getting? what do you have your low end response set to? I am thinking hard about helping my dpf fall off my truck this spring. also would like to hear from people that still have the dpf on there trucks(which timing setting) They are useing. Thanks Mopar72
Use the Edge timing or you won't see as much of a performance boost. The stock timing option was there on the early models as a mistake. when they were in the testing phase it got leaked out to the public. After some guys got it they used the stock timing option to stack other chips or programers and keep the timing in check.
So use the Edge timing if it is all you are using. If you still have the DPF and EGR then keep the levels at 1 or 2 except for short runs

i use the edge timing and run it on #5 with low end set to high. i have also run it #6 hot with low end set to highest, and never had trouble. yes 5 & 6 will give you a lot more timing rattle. if you run it with stock timing you'll see less of a performance gain across the board, and i get noticeably better fuel economy with edge timing. i think dodge retards the timing on these for emissions. obviously by looking at my sig, you see that i am not nearly as concerned as they are with emissions (or warranty)!

oh yeah, if you want timing rattle, try the bully dog power pup on performance setting. i used to think my motor was going to drop out of the truck! no, it was worse than the edge, but still ok.
mastercaster thanks for the info. So how do you like the S&B air intake?? I was going to buy the voilent system with the cold air scoop. But not now i added up both parts and it was going to cost me 600 dollers

So i said screw that. also did you see any power gains with the S@B over the stock air intake setup?? thanks Mopar72

i like the s&b fine. it seems to be a well made unit. as far as power goes, it's really hard to say. the reaseon being, is i did all of my deletes in 2 back to back days. so i had huge power gains, just not sure what each thing would do individually. i did my turbo back exhaust, egr and egr cooler deletes, s&b cai, and the edge. the edge i installed the week prior, but ran it stock until i removed the exhaust. i think for the money the s&b is fantastic. i looked at quite a few cai's and it seemed that the guys running the s&b were happy with it. not that other brand owners weren't, but if i can get the same performance or close for the better price i will. s&b is also known to have good customer service. i can't attest to that, as i haven't needed it. there is a good turbo whistle, but again i am not sure how much of that can be attributed to each mod that i've done.
i guess i need to get in contact with Edge its all plug and play so im not sure how i could have messed anything up but im guessing it has to do with the turbo timer portion pluged in under the steering column, anyhow thanks...
