oil pressure gauge goes up and down

is it normal for the oil pressure gauge on a 6.7 with 9000 miles when ur press the gas and let off. .Not too much but it is noticiable goes below the middle mark and a little above when on the gas.

Gauge movement is engineered into the cluster. It's dependent on engine temp and rpm. The "sending unit" on your engine is basically an "on/off" switch. You either have oil psi.....or you don't. The cluster is just an idiot light that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
