oil pan heater

Does any one here know if those stick on magnetic oil pan heaters will work on the 6.7?

I thought I read some where that the oil pan is double walled, but not really sure of that.

thanks

I would think that even if it is double walled the heat would transfer enough to do the job.

Where do you live? and it has to be really cold there to justify one, It gets down to -40 here and I don't use one, Just my two cents though.

I installed one of these: http://www.padheaters.com/ Model 16.

It is easy to install and well worth the $70 it cost IMO.
