No fuel pressure?
No fuel pressure?
To be clear my new fuel pressure guage is showing zero psi.
Haven't had the truck long, finally got all my guages in. Got the tapped banjo bolt from Glacier which goes into the line on the CP3, my fuel pressure sender is threaded right into that bolt. Two wires going to the sender, one is from the guage, the other is ground. Everything works function wise, guage lights up, needle cycles to max then back to zero when I start the truck. I was thinking I had something wired wrong or a bad sender- only thing that I question is yesterday when I was driving the truck up a hill with considerable right foot input, the needle started to move. The needle was very erractic, up to 7psi at one point, then back and forth a couple of times to 5psi and zero, back to 7psi and zero, for maybe 20 seconds or so it did this. Once I got to flatter ground (less right foot)- I was back to zero psi.
Truck runs and starts very well, seems to have good power. I have not changed the fuel filter yet, but if the truck really has zero fuel pressure, it would not run/start correct? I was going to take it to the dealer and see if they could confirm a low/zero pressure state, but I wanted to be sure I am not missing something here?
