newbie question

Hi Y'all,

I have an '09 2500 SLT 4WD with S&B air, Hypertech and Carly Performance 2.0 suspension. It is awesome! Except for the EGR and DPF. I HATE THEM! Waiting for Smarty to get the code to the '09 computer broken so I can fix my truck! And then, Crysler is something else... my service manual has been on back order at techauthority.com since I bought the truck in June. Any ideas on where to get one?

Also, I'm looking for specs. Found tons of them for the 5.9 but not for the 6.7. any ideas?

And finally, does anyone have the torque spec for the oil drain plug for a 6.7. I am fearful of stripping the thing and have a very bad habit of successfully doing that.

Thanks!!!

Bill

Welcome to DTR!

Sorry, I'm not much help for you. Techauthority is a great resource. The manual should be out soon.

As for the drain plug, I'd be comfortable using the 5.9L torque specs.

I went to Geno's garage and had the manual (CD format) in a couple of days.

Thanks y'all. From Jim, 37 ft pounds is the torque spec for the 6.7 oil drain plug. After 6 months of waiting, on December 31, I received notification from Techauthorithy that the '09 manuals are finallly ready for distribution. Geno's should have them soon and I'll buy it from them.
