New wheels & tires - Towing / Smarty Jr.
Well I have finally decided on new wheels and tires and they will be in this next week. I am getting MB Gunner 8 and 275/65/20 Michelin LTX A/T2. I have stock 265/70/17 now and pull a 7000lb RV with no problem at all. I have 3.73 gears with an auto and am a little concerned about the power loss becuse of the RPM's drop. I was wondering if anyone had this similar set-up and If maybe I will need a Smarty Jr. to compensate. Also if I do purchase a Smarty Jr. now will it have the update for the 40/70/100 fix installed?

smarty ordered
I just ordered my smarty jr. I can tell from the link that that you added this is what I need. I was hesitating because we travel a lot off road in west Texas Big Bend desert area and I was a little concerned with the reliability issue and the remoteness of the areas we travel. I feel better now after reviewing the post and am looking forward to the extra power. Thanks for the reply.
