New proud 6.7 owner

Been a member for a while now and can finally say I've graduated from my SRW 2500 CTD to a brand spankin' new 3500 CC Dually! And I'm loving everything..... so far.

I've noticed a few rumblings on this forum about exhaust brakes, tranny glitches, etc. I just wanted to know if there's anything that I need to pay particular attention to while in my break-in period or down the road when I stick my 14,000lb trailer on it?

Speaking of that, the old 5.9 seemed to breathe a bit heavy when pulling away from lights and the tranny left little to be desired in it's twilight years. Would I be right in presuming that the new steed will make all of that a distant memory?

Be interested to hear anyone's thoughts.

The 6 spd auto is going to be a vast improvement especially towing wise over the previous auto. Use the EB as much as you can. Don't bog it around town by keeping it out of 6th gear at 30 mph, its habit for me to toggle to 4th as soon as its in D so that doesn't happen. Break in? Where is that trailer sitting right now?

Congrats on the purchase BTW..
