New 08 >> Is this Price good?
Ok I have been looking for a specific truck and I think I found it...
It is a SLT 2500 Lonestar edition
Silver Quadcab
4x4 auto 6 speed
3:73
Power everything including seat and rear window
Cloth interior
Aluminum Wheels
Tow Package
a few other different packages (not sure what they are)
for $36,332
I am going to look at it tomorrow and probably buy it ... I having a few problems with the 04.5 now and figure the fastest way to fix them will be to buy a new truck >> Of course that will probably be a LOT more expensive in the long run... But it should have a longer warranty this time...

Put in all the options and get the invoice price:
https://www.thinkbank.com/black_book/new_set.html
Then subtract 3%
Then subtract the current incentives:
http://www-5.dodge.com/incentives/In...r=2008&family=
Now you're at a good price for a new truck... good luck - love my 2008

MSRP was listed at $47ish
They are down to $36K >>> Is there more there?? I see some people on the "What did you pay" thread saying they got $15K knocked off >> How do you find out the real deal??
I would love to get the truck for $32K but is it possible?? I purposely waited until the end of the month because I know they want to get those last couple of deals closed for their next months allocations...

I'll call them... Larence Marshal in Hempstead is trying to get me to drive down there also... It is so much better to shop with the internet and phone rather than driving all over like we used to do!
My goal is to make the deal and only spend 30-45 min at the dealership closing it.

I was told no more end of the month allocations here (fl)that DC has restructured this a few months back. I say its a good deal my list in Aug. was 49,000 and thats a little more than I paid, but not bad for not knowing someone at the dealership..that number must be close or at invoice, can always try getting half of the holdback.
I would buy

I bought it... Nice deal... I had everything worked out over the phone so I only spent 30-45 min at the dealership... There was no surprises and no BS... They were friendly and painless...
If anyone is wondering it was Appel Dodge in Brenham Texas...
I love the way this truck shifts... smooth as silk!
I am hooking it up tomorrow to pull for about 300 miles and that should tell me what I have.
Thanks for the advise and help...

Yeah... It was starting to develop a few problems and I can't afford any down time because of my business... I have to schedule break downs .>>LOL<<<
The new one is Silver like the last one so very few people even noticed... LOL... It is a good thing because I recently went up on my service prices and I figured people would start thinking it was to make the payment! hahaha
