installed the prodigy with the harness for my 07 cab chassis and i have trailer brakes when i use the button on the box but no brake lights, have brake lights with pedal but no trailer brakes???? i wired the plug on my hoppy box to the plug that came with my 05 when i put it in it and it works fine, so what the heck
any help much appreciated

 

1) The manual lever on the Prodigy won't turn on the brake lights. (I had to get used to that too.)

2) It sounds like all the connections are ok, and you just need to set the gain and boost on the Prodigy to get the right amount of trailer braking. Crank it up a little higher until you can feel the trailer brakes doing their share.

 

well the lever does work, locks the trailer brakes up fine with it, but i get no brakes with brake pedal on the trailer?

 

so are you just slamming the brakes on to see if the trailer brakes are not working?

how are you checking to see if the brakes apply when you step on the brake pedal???

 

truck not running and you can hear the electric brakes buzz
but, i unplugged the box and plugged the box in out of my 05 and worked fine, then unplugged it and plugged the prodigy back in and works fine, i dunno, so simple its complicated, but all works now so thanks for the help!
