Mpg???

Have a friend that got a 6.7 and figured out that the mpg's are not very good. he told me to ask and see if anyone knew some mods to do to get him a few more mpg.

Thanks,

He may have to mod how he drives it.

it seems to be hit or miss with these trucks, and the platform still doesn't have the aftermarket backing yet that has proven reliable and effective. I am getting ~15mpg with 35" tires so I suppose I am on the better end for mileage with these rigs, yet am still looking to pick up a Max Mileage Module from Quadzilla as soon as they are available for the 6.7L. Once I do, I will post any improvements in fuel economy that I see.

Freespins for sure but it takes forever to pay for themselves.

Yes there are mods that may increase mpg on the 6.7 but they can not be discussed on this forum. If you look or ask on other diesel forums you may find what you are looking for.

wealthy people stay wealthy by not erroneously spending money. surely i did not buy the truck BECAUSE of the fuel mileage, but if I find a way to make the truck more economical it would be just plain idiotic not to pursue it.

Sounds like an excuse one would make to justify buying a fuel wasting EGR and DPF equiped 6.7.
