might be wrong area but i am looking for bed exhausts

hey all im a 16 yr old who is tryin to convinve his pa to get a 06 ram qc 4x4 2500
now in a few months we will start searching at dealers around here (theres like 3)
so if we get the truck the first mod would be 6 inch bed exhausts
i cant seem to find any "good" manufacturer for them
i would want a two pipe system
now im also new to diesels (i know how a diesel and gas engine work, and a 2 cycle gasser work)
and my dad wants the best mpg out of it (we wont be towing much maybe nothing at all)
so i dont need a 3500 obviosly
i dont know if i should go with the 5.9 or 6.7
i hear on the 6 speed auto with the 6/7 it has a manual shift mode? i am into that if its not a big $$ option. im not sure if we need the exhaust brake just to slow the truck down. also lookin at 3.73 rears i think if that gives us the best mpg thanks much

IF you plan on bombing it get the 5.9 if not I have been told that the new 6.7 drives very well right out of the box. As far as stacks go there are a whole mess of companies selling kits (Summit is about the cheapest I have seen) or you can buy the parts from local big truck parts stored and do it yourself. Also e-bay is a good place to find the chrome for a reasonable price.

I would think stacks on the new 6.7 might be harder to setup due to the DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter). Does anyone know where on the exhaust these are mounted. I would go with the 5.9 if you are planning on bombing it.
