I have a 2007 2500 cummings Mega cab truck. My husband and I are looking to make it a 4x4. What type of kit would we need to look for to make that change?

 

I would look for a 4x4 truck and sell yours.

 

Thats a rare truck...with the cumminGs engine.

Like my older twin said...sell it and get a 4x4 as that would be well, far reaching to achieve.

 

The cost to swap the components wouldn't be worth the effort..

 

Yeah the truck is paid off and we don't want to sell it since the mega cab isn't being made anymore.

 

They still do make mega cabs. They are available in the 4th gen body style.

There are plenty of nice used 4x4 3rd gen Megas out there too.

The swap you want to do is a nightmare. The money you would spend on it would most likely make up the difference on a nice used 4x4 mega, or a big down payment on a new mega.

 

I just looked at a 2010 Mega that my wife said to stay away from.
