I don't know about the new leather, but if you get them, you better have the seat heaters, too... I have a leather upgrade, I love the fact that they are durable, but I don't have the seat heaters, and it is crappy in the winter.

They are not as comfortable as the cloth ones, either.

This is on an 04...

You will regret it if you don't get em. Especially after you jump into another truck with them. But yes get them heated......unless you live in florida, that will only give you swamp edit

I just bought an 06 mega cab and I shopped for months to find the options that I wanted......more like needed to be totally satisfied with the truck and leather was on the top of the list. Once you have it you wont be able to go back to cloth.

Plus Dodge leather is durable, wears really well and is easy to clean. Go and slap a cloth seat and watch all the dust fly.......leather stays cleaner.

Just an opinion but I love the leather.

Cheers.

Same boat here. Have the add on leathers. No heaters. Love the leather but wish they had the heaters.

If you do an aftermarket add on, Katzkin has some of the best kits on the market and you can get them with the heaters. A little creative wiring and you could get the factory heater switches and make it work.

Or just order it with factory leather, thats the route Id go.

Not a fan of leather at all, they look good for a few years then start to crack no matter what you do to them....Have had the seat replaced in wifes vehicle twice in 4 years and still cracked...my dads and brothers trucks both all cracked up and I think cloth is more comfortable, but to each their own.

Got leather in the 08. Really nice and easy to clean, especially with younger passengers and juices if you catch my drift.. Our minivan has leather as our first try at it and I was sceptical, but now after the spills and cleanups its all I would get. Warm mild soap bucket and a good terry cloth and they look like new.

My 06 had leather and heated seats, my 08 has cloth. The leather in Dodges wears very well. I cleaned and conditioned mine every weekend. The leather never cracked and it got softer and smoother over time. The only benefit of cloth is, I find it to be more comfortable. It gives a little more, not as stiff. If you have the option, Id say go for it. Like everyone else said, get the friggin seat heaters. Your keister will thank you in the winter.

I love my leather seats for their durability to stay looking new over time.Easy to clean and they look great, even after my dog jumpd all over them and he doesn't leave a mark. Definitely get with heaters. But on the down side, I can't get comfortable in them at all, I feel like i am sitting on a school bus seat. Even with all the adjustment , just can't get it right, my back and rear relly ache after a day in the truck. My 2003 with the clothe seats where way mor comfortable. Dodge leather is nice though, My pops chevy leather looks like crap after 30,000 miles, cracks all over. I have 60,000 miles and mine looks like it was brand new.

I have cheap vinyl, but have leather waiting to go in. Cloth is too hard to maintain if you work out of your truck, and i would never have it again.

I have cloth in my truck, but would have sprung for the leather if I had the choice. No complaints about the cloth, leather is just easier to maintain, looks better, and adds value to the truck.
