Rolled 20k this week.

I had about 20,600 when I parked it yesterday. I drive a propane fueled 98 junk chevy when not towing and just use the Dodge to tow. I have a 3,000 mile oil change package from Lithia and use it. I have had no check engine lights, only the change oil msg. every 7500k (dealer does not reset it when they change the oil). For the last 6k miles this truck has been used for towing and one 700 mile trip when my wifes tahoe was being repaired. I average 10.5 mpgs loaded and around 15mpg empty. I spent around 6k$ on my 01 6speed ho 4.10 geared Cummins in upgrades (Edge Juice, II 90hp injectors, htt B1 turbo, helix II cam, exhaust brake and intake, exhaust, clutch and fuel pump upgrades) to make it a tow machine. This 08 will outpull it and get the same mpg's doing it, I would not trade back. This auto is the bomb and I love driving this truck, just refuse to pay for diesel unless I have to.

My only complaint about this truck is that the drivers door lock rod rattles when running down the highway, I have had it in to the dealership twice and they had one tech that could not hear it. I took it back and had the service advisor drive it (heard it loud and clear), the dealer ordered all new lock mech. parts and I am taking it in for repair next week. Anyone else had this problem?

On a sidenote, I drove/rode an extended trip in a loaded o8 duramax a while back and it had lots of rattles (sounded like the A pillars on both sides), I was glad I purchased another Dodge.

15K miles, have only had it in the shop four times, bad injector and EGR problems, and now the clutch is gone, other than that it's a great truck

Mine just rolled over 8k miles today. Fuel economy has gotten worse and will go to dealer about it next week. Only other complaint is that the AC in the truck really seems to struggle compared to other crew cab trucks I have owned.

Rattles in the doors and A pillars is exactly why I got rid of my 2006 SuperDuty. The dealership told me "drove a new one and it does the same thing, you will have to live with the problem." I lived with it ok...for about 9 weeks waiting on my current truck to come in.

Mine have about 20K on it so far and no problems. Bought new in November so only a few months old. Only update was the recall on the O2 sensor replacement and flash update that was done back in December. Other than that, no problems. My only regret was that I didn't get a Quad cab, being a first time diesel truck owner.

Angry

26450. When it is right it is a monster, but its been in the shop over 10 times, 2 new turbos, other work done, 4 codes, etc. etc. Last week they drilled a hole in my turbo, tapped and plugged it so they can insert cleaning fluid to clean turbo and DPF. As I said, when it is right, it is great. Definitely sorry I bought the 6.7.

2007 3500 6speed manual 4000 miles and no problems to speak of. Only drive about 1 mile to work, so the cat full message comes on quite often. I pull a 15,000 pound 5th wheel toy hauler and the truck does great!! mileage empty about 17mpg, towing about 10 I traded a 2004 2500 5.9 for this truck when I bought the 5th wheel.

14,000 miles, 8 dealer visits due to rough idle issues and 5 CEL lights. Dealer will replace turbo when I get another CEL.

08 2500

802 miles so far. 16.03 MPG on first tank with cruise set at 78MPH in fairly
hilly area.(6-speed auto w/3.73) So far so good. Engine oil looks very black?
This is #10 diesel light duty for me.(5 Powerstrokes and 5 Cummins). I was hoping for better fuel economy, but so far best of what I have had.
