There were a few posts about this issuee a while back. I think that the issue is that some type of resistor has to be installed so that the computer sees the proper resistance that the LED's do not create.

Do a search and hopefully you will find an answer.

I haven't tried this, but the dealer told me that if I put LEDs in the parking lights in the front, then it would all work alright. The entire circuit has to have the same type of bulbs so the computer doesn't think there's a drop in voltage at the light.

I have the same problem with both tailights being out? Any ideas other than the bad ground ideas I keep getting?

Wire any extra lights into the trailer plug. The computer uses checks resistance to since bulbs that are out. That's why your turn signals are going fast, just like a bulb being out use to do to the old ones. Don't you just love all these new features for idiots, it will also tell you when you have a low tire. If you cant tell you have a low tire you should not be driving on public roads.

Mine is a cab/chassis and I have no extra lights other than the ones that came mounted on the flat bed. I also get a small glow out of the drivers side headlight when i tap my brakes. I only notice this glow when the headlights are off.

When the spring thaw comes I will have to find a hot full-time lead for my internal camper lights. Any suggestions on where to look? I have read that the computer on the "08" reads amperage and will turn things off if you tap into the wrong one.

If you have the tow pacage you will have a Key on hot to the 7-prong plug on the rear that you can tap into. I belive its the lower left corner but use a test light or DVOM just to be sure. It will say on the cover of the plug it will show a +.
