help hub & axle shaft removal
I need help about removing my right hub & axle shaft on my 2007 2500 4wd. I'm trying to remove the right axle shaft to have the universal joint replaced.
I'm at this pointand unsure of what to expect next:
removed caliper and caliper retainer, removed brake disc, removed center axle nut.
the antilockup cable looks to be held by a 2 inch plate that is being held by a allen head screw if i remove screw and plate is there a electical disconnect readily accessible for disconnecting it?
the hub looks like it and the brake dust cover are held on with 4 bolts. is this the next step? and will the hub usually come out without much difficulty?
any help or suggestions would be appreciated i'm at a stopping point without help
thanks in advance

it was supposed to say in my first post "a 1/2 inch bracket" held down by an allen screw.
mine took a 5 mm allen wrench to remove the screw and the sensor just lifts out.
after pulling both axle shafts i took them to a repair shop they replaced the u-joints with greaseable joints. It cost $74.00 for each joint and $63.00 labor +$29.00 tax the total was $240.00, just to replace the u-joints carry in/out. that was kind of a shock I thought maybe 1/2-3/4 of that at the time, oh well.
i now have 143,000 miles on this truck
i learned a lesson too. if seeing rust on the front wheels
check out u joints for wear.
