Lemon!!!

I think I am headed down the same road. I have the 2007 6.7 dually, and it is on its third trip to the dealer for the same thing…engine light on, EGR crap. I have 6600 mile on this truck and this light comes on after every major use. I drive it a couple of hundred miles, then maybe two or three short trips. Then the light comes on. One question for the experts on here…Has any one seen in writing that these trucks can’t idle long, must be driven hard at speeds over 55 mph, and no in and around town driving? I just find it amazing that the Dodge Diesel Techs. Are telling us that, but it is not disclosed at purchase time.
Has anyone gone down the lemon law road here in Texas? If so, did they pay back the sales tax as well?
Thanks!

Man I feel your pain.I am going through the same thing. Mine is a 07.5 mega loaded 4x4.I decided to go through a lawyer thinking d/c would listen better. In have not made any progress in 3 months.Your paper work is very important, try dealing with d/c your self through your dealer first, then a lawyer. Also you might want to wait to see if d/c files bankrupcy,if you have a lawsuit with them and they file out it will wipe out your suit. I wonder if I would have been better off trying to get a buy back or a replacement on my own instead of through legal representation.

Lemon!!!

My dealer in Hickory, NC say go the buyback route. NC lemon law seems easier to meet the requirements then here in Texas. I asked the dealer here in Texas were I get the truck repaired at what the auctions are giving for the 07.5 dually's...he said $24K. I just laughed...can't even trade it in with out being upside down...
