Grinding noise in tranny

I have a 07 6.7 with auto tranny 14,000 mls making grinding noise shifting between reverse to drive. Dealer says its a program issue in computer. Any one heard of this

I have no idea but my 2001 Dodge Durango with the 4.6 V8 has done it forever. It seems to be the solenoid shift packs. The Durango has over 192,000 miles on it with maybe one tranny service. Let her eat..
