good scantool?

I'm looking to buy a scanner... I'm gonna be purchasing an older jeep wrangler,& would like this scanner to work also with my'07 ram 6.7

recomendations???

I you have a laptop Digimoto and Pro scan have a good economical system that allows you to connect your computer to your vehicle and read code and sensors. Both can be found on line. Don't remember the price I paid. Though if you only want to read codes you can get a cheep one at Walmart.

I don't have a laptop.. is digmoto& proscan a software program,& connect w/cable??
