we have our since 1 month...compare to a 5.9 expect to lose 1 or sometime 2 mpg.....due to the dpf regeneration when need it..and all the crappy stuff on the engine!!

but i must admit...the truck have now 2500 kilometer..(1562 killes) on it,and the tip exhaust is clean clean clean.......when i put my finger to check for the soot!!!

Can't get a 2500 C&C... he just has an amalgamation of transmissions listed in his signature....

1) fuel mileage - +-10 mpg pulling a trailer, depending on load, 15+ running bobtail
2) don't know about any problems, I have 31,550 miles on my truck and haven't done anything but change oil and filters. You are the one that mentions problems, what were they. I see you are in Canada, if they are the ones with the stopped up DPF, I believe that was traced to long idleing and running the wrong fuel. If there is something else, I'd like to know about it myself.

You can definitely get a SRW cab & chassis.

To my knowledge, they are not producing a 2500 C&C. They are producing a SRW 3500 C&C.

I think you can order a 2500 and select the Bed Delete option. You get ripped off by only getting a $400 credit. Much smarter to buy the truck with the bed and sell the bed or part it out.

The CC is 3500 only. 2500's would be considered a box off.

With just less than 5K on our truck we are seeing about 15-16 mpg in the city 12-13 with a 24ft unloaded flatbed and anywhere from 7-10mpg loaded. Our biggest load we have tested with was 14K lbs plus the trailer weight and we were fighting a 20-25moh headwind. We got 6.8mpg running 70mph.

I can tell you there is a large difference from 70-75mph as well. The rpms stay low but if the boost gauge is above about 4-6psi it is drinking fuel!

Any idea what the city/hwy mileage would be on 2500 4X4 CC with the 6.7 and 68rfe with 3.73 gears?

Trying to figure out if I would break even after 5 years/150,000 kms versus a gasser. I know you have to consider resale, maintenance and interest as well.

Thanks.
