Fuel additives for moisture control

I have heard it many times that we are not to use additives. What about moisture in fuel during the winter. Did anybody use anything like PS in their 6.7 last winter and what were the results.

I've never used additives in my diesels. I also don't let them sit for long periods on MT.

I've used Power Service with every single tank of fuel that has gone through both my '01 and my '08. With the 349000 miles on my '01 and the 26500 miles on my '08, I haven't had a fuel issue yet (knock on wood).

Shellbourne Fuels' Diesel Fuel enhancer does the trick in that it has an evaporator in addition to a fungicide and anti-bacteria. 1 OZ treats 15 gallons for ~$1.25. Cheap insurance against unscheduled stops.
