Front Shaft Grease Fitting

I feel foolish asking but I have spent over an hour over several months trying to find the fitting on the front drive shaft that the manual says I have. There's even a tag on the radiator that points out where it is and still I can't find it. I have moved the truck with the 4 wheel drive engaged and crawled under but haven't found it. I know it's supposed to be a fitting that requires a needle type grease gun and I've probed around with an awl with no luck. It can't be that hard to find. What am I missing?
Mt truck was built in April , is it possible it doesn't have the fitting?
Any help would be appreciated.

It is there - but it is REALLY hard to find. There is a picture of it on the board somewhere.

Did a search , found the pics and went out and jacked up the left tire and found the fitting. Dodge Engineering has got to kidding with placement of that one. Those engineers are laughing their a**** off with that thing!
You mean there wasn't a better way to lube that area ? Bull****!

On my 06 there is a hole in the crossmember. The grease gun hose fits thru that hole, turn the shaft and the fitting will line up perfectly.
