Front Axle Question

Truck is 2007 3500 4x4.

Both of the front axle u joints are gone in my truck.

I don't have the money to replace them right now and am wondering if I can remove the axle assemblies and drive with out them in? Will the new style hubs on this truck allow that?

Thanks.

I would highly suggest that you find a way to afford some u joints and replace them. Maybe even go to a junk yard if you have to. Sounds like you're capable to do the labor... The hubs on this truck have the shafts turning all the way back to the transfer case. That is why there is a sticker to remind greasing the front drive shaft u joints which have a port to do so.
